On April 26^th, the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union and FAO Goodwill Ambassador Ms. Leyla Aliyeva has met with the acting Chief of the Cabinet at FAO Mario Lubetkin and head of FAO’s new Partnership and Liaison Office in Azerbaijan Melek Cakmak, who were in Baku to attend the 7^th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations.

The sides highlighted the significance of ideas and goals of the Forum held in Baku and noted the topicality of issues raised at the Youth Forum, which was held in the framework of the event.  Leyla Aliyeva also shared her thoughts on the issue of environmental protection.

Moreover, issues such as hunger reduction, healthy school nutrition as well as restoring the sturgeon populations in the Caspian Sea were discussed at the meeting.
