IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign has organized a seminar workshop on "Protection of Urban Biocenosis", aimed at calling on people to protect homeless animals.

The event was held on the occasion of the International Homeless Animals Day, marked on 16 August every year.

Expert of the interactive seminar was PhD in biological sciences Elchin Sultanov. According to Mr. Elchin's speech, every year 5-7 million animals in the world are sheltered. Despite this, 3-4 million homeless dogs and cats perish every year. The humanity suffers a big blow from such losses.

After the seminar, a specific workshop on "Possible ways of protection of homeless animals" has been organized. Dividing into two groups, participants have shown an active participation during the workshop.

IDEA campaign  calls on people to be more attentive in protecting plant and animal species, understand the importance of the biological balance and protect it. Therefore, the campaign holds a number of events, takes actions in the field of environment.
