A tree planting action was held at the intiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Union in Narimanov  district of Baku. During the fire accident in crossing streets of T. Shikhaliyev 20 and K.Kazimzade, on June 5, 2014, twenty two Eldar pines and olive trees were burned, hence why, thirty pine trees were planted.

Main purpose of the action, was to restore damaged green zone caused by fire, to fit healthy environmental surroundings as well as to fertilize soil areas, restoration of the ecological balance of the area and  to contribute environmental culture among people  and promote main sense of environment carriage.

Representatives of the executive power of Narimanov district have also taken part in the action release.

It should also be noted that, from establishment of IDEA Public Union,  more than 3 million 472 thousands trees were planted.  The Union is contributing such kind of events in order to pass information of the importance of environmental protection and in particular, the relevancy of attention of people to encourage others to work together and fight against the problems that happen to the environment.
