On 06 June 2015, another training session will be held within “The Ecological Laboratory for Children” project jointly carried out by IDEA Public Union and “Sevimli Bala”.

The June session of the Laboratory will focus on the subject of “green city”, waste and recycling. In the course of the session, children will find out about the harm caused to the environment by the use of cars and the benefits of bicycling and walking both for human health and the environment, and will learn about ways to reduce and recycle waste.

Moreover, the young friends of the environment will engage in several lab experiments and will make works of art from waste with the help of their trainers.

Along with providing children with knowledge about waste reduction and recycling as major elements of environmental protection, the June lab session will also contribute to their understanding of the concept of “sustainable city” from an early age.
