On 8 July 2019, at the initiative of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva, another park opened under "Bizim həyət" project, which aims at improving and renovating old yards and parks in Baku.
Opening ceremony of the park took place with participation of IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva, who planted trees together with volunteers.
Becoming twenty-seventh within the project, the improved park covers multi-story buildings with 2000 dwellers residing at 46/47 Moscow avenue, 1 Javadkhan street of Nasimi district.
The goal of "Bizim həyət" project is to upgrade residential parks that need restoration, increase areas of greeneries in the city and create more comfortable living environments for residents.
The park features a new landscape design, mini-football field, chess board, outdoor workout facilities, children’s playground and 8 gazebos and benches providing comfort to everyone, including people with disabilities. The outdoor sports equipment has been specifically placed to create social fitness experience for people of all ages enabling them to lead active lives.
At the request of residents, new lighting was installed in the area, as well as façades and entrance areas of the buildings have also been renovated. Along with the restoration of the existing greenery, 80 new trees have been planted and 6000 sq meter lawn has been laid in the yard.
The project is planned to cover all districts of Baku. Suggestions and requests on the yards that need a renovation like this can be sent to IDEA Public Union.
