The Summit will take place in the auditorium of Baku's state-of-the-art Heydar Aliyev Center. Designed by Zaha Hadid it is already acclaimed as one of the world's most significant contemporary buildings.
The audience will consist of a number of the world's foremost cat conservation experts, alongside representatives from major international environmental NGOs, stakeholders from across the Caucasus region, and locally-based academics.
Following the Summit, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting heli-trek expedition to see some of Azerbaijan's diverse landscapes and ecosystems. There will be a short flight (30 minutes) from Baku to Qabala, where you will be taken on a helicopter tour of the beautiful Kings Valley region.
This will be followed by a picnic lunch and gentle two-hour hike around the valley. Particpants will then return back to Baku for the evening's gala dinner. They will be staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Absheron, situated in the heart of Baku.
