September 16 is celebrated as the “International Day for the Preservation of Ozone Layer” every year. In connection with this, IDEA campaign organized an interactive seminar on the theme of  "Atmosphere pollution challenges”.

Up to 30 young people, having special interest in the environment and its protection, participated in the seminar.  The seminar was conducted by the representative of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mrs. Matanat Avazova.

At the seminar expert emphasized that, usage of energy in the recent years has increased, in turn, it leaded to increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which also caused formation of a hole in the ozone layer. This problem can create serious complications for Earths in future.

The causes of pollution in the atmosphere, and the harmful sides of the hole in the ozone layer were discussed in the seminar. The expert was also introduced to opinions of the participants on the issue and responded their questions. After all, the expert mentioned importance of attentive approach  to the  settlement of such kind problems.

It should be noted that, IDEA campaign holds such kind of educational seminars constantly.
