IDEA members visited Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center

The main intention of the visit was to draw attention of young people towards homeless animals, call youth to treat perceptibly to them, make an effort on gaining ill animals back to the natural life.

Almost every day we come across with homeless pets. In many cases homeless pets become a real source of danger for us and kids, because of several animal diseases and lack of care. During the visit young IDEA members  were given all detailed information on dangers of animal diseases and importance of animal care, introduced to the activities and working principles of AARC, took part in the treatment process of the ill animals.

It should be mentioned that, Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center (AARC) was established in 2009. The Activities of the Azerbaijan Animal Rescue Center are supported by Vise-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) campaign, Mrs. Lelya Aliyeva.

The main purpose of establishing the Center is to contribute to the control of homeless pets and development of animal care culture in Azerbaijan. The Center is striving to contribute to the development of animal care culture in Azerbaijan. Therefore, establishing clubs, conducting awareness raising activities at kindergartens and schools, involving young veterinarians in capacity building trainings are just a small part of the activities of AARC.
