With a view to promote environmental protection and waste reduction and to raise awareness among the population, especially among youth, about waste and its negative effects on the environment, “Reduce Your Waste” photo contest organized by “Tamiz Shahar” JSC has been launched at the initiative and with the support of IDEA Public Union.

Professional or amateur photographers that wish to participate in the contest should visit www.tullantim.az website of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC and register. Then, simply upload a photo that reflects the negative impacts of waste on the environment in the “Photocontest” section of the website or send it by email to musabiqe@tullantim.az.

Each participant must only submit a photo taken personally by him/her; photos should demonstrate the importance of environmental protection, waste reduction and elimination of factors that negatively affect the human health, and encourage people to keep our Planet clean, take care of nature and not pollute the environment.

The deadline for the submission of photos is 20 April 2016. A panel consisting of representatives of IDEA Public Union and “Tamiz Shahar” JSC as well as of professional independent photographers will select the 3 most impressive photographs and determine the winners. At the end, the winners will be awarded with valuable gifts.
