Improved yard in Nasimi district unveiled within "Bizim həyət" project

Improvement of old yards within "Bizim həyət" (Our Yard) project led by IDEA Public Union, Cavan Youth Movement and supported by local District Executive Powers, successfully continues bringing joy to the citizens of Baku. 

 

On 26 November 2018, another renovated yard, surrounding multi-story buildings with 1200 residents, was unveiled at 17-17a Ali Mustafayev street in Nasimi district.

 

The aim of the project is to upgrade yards that need renovation, increase areas of greeneries in the city and create more comfortable living environments for residents.

 

Remodeled with the support of Nasimi District Executive Power, the 15 thousand sq meter yard features a new landscape design, public workout area (100 m²), children's playground (120 m²), outdoor chess board (100 m²) and football field (200 m²) providing comfort to everyone, including people with disabilities. The outdoor sports equipment has been placed specifically to create social fitness experience for people of all ages enabling them to lead active lives.

 

At the request of residents, façades and entrance areas of buildings have also been renovated. Additionally, 200 trees and shrubs have been planted, as well 2000 sq meter lawn has been put in the yard.

"Bizim həyət" project was launched at the initiative of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA, Leyla Aliyeva. The yard in Nasimi has become the eighth yard improved within the project.

  

The project is planned to cover all districts of Baku. Suggestions and requests on the yards that need a renovation like this can be sent to IDEA Public Union.
