On 17 June 2015 the construction of charging stations was commenced in Baku. Within the framework of the project, jointly carried out by "Green Car LTD", “Azerishig OJSC” and IDEA Public Union, technologically advanced electric charging devices will be installed in several areas of Baku and in other regions of the country. The first such charging station has already been opened in the parking area of the Heydar Aliyev Center's park. Operated by special software, these charging devices incorporate the latest technological innovations and are consistent with all charging standards existing in electric cars.

With the support of IDEA Public Union (International Dialogue for Environmental Action), "Green Car LTD" started implementing large-scale ecologically innovative projects across the country. The main goals of the projects are to bring the latest technological advances to Azerbaijan, contribute to environmental protection through innovative methods and, thus, render support for the protection of ecology and creation of a healthy environment throughout the country.

The launching of a large-scale transition to environmentally friendly electric cars for the first time in Azerbaijan by "Green Car" as well as awareness-raising and promotional campaigns in this regard will further contribute to improving the ecological situation across the country and in the broader region.

"Green Car LTD" works towards bringing indispensable means for environmental protection - electric cars, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles and other vehicles – to Azerbaijan, and carries out other projects that serve to protect the ecology.
