Dear conference participants!

Let me salute you on the occasion of the “Caspian: Technologies for the Environment” exhibition and wish the show every success.

It is gratifying that such environmental exhibitions have already become traditional for our country. The successes we achieved in recent years have strengthened the economic foundations of our republic and created opportunities for the development of the non-oil sector, infrastructure industries and the regions, in particular the comprehensive measures to ensure environmental safety.

To this day, a number of important environmental projects, those on the conservation of natural resources and biodiversity have been implemented. Currently, the attention of the public, local and international organizations is focused on environmental problems, and our environmental policy is being successfully implemented.

The use of new technologies meeting environmental requirements in the implementation of some pilot projects to improve environmental protection has contributed to excellent results. All this shows again that environmental issues, and indeed all aspects of social and economic life in Azerbaijan, are always in the spotlight. We should be able to maximize the use of the most advanced “green technologies” for our citizens to live in a healthy environment.

I am sure that the “The Caspian: Technologies for the Environment” international exhibition will be effective in achieving its goals.
