On April 2nd, Green Marathon 2022 was launched with the first tree planting of the year. During the campaign that was organized in Mushvigabad settlement, 2000 numerous trees were planted with participation of 100 volunteers.

This year's Green Marathon, which includes mass planting campaigns during the spring and autumn planting seasons in various regions of the country, envisions creation of green corridors in Azerbaijan, especially in the Absheron Peninsula, by planting in difficult terrains and steep slopes to ultimately protect the environment and contribute to our floral diversity.
