The project ‘Let's change a paper sheet for a leave’ organized by IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union, "ASAN xidmət" and "Təmiz Şəhər" OJSC is going on with success.

Paters and paper products are recycled at "ASAN xidmət" center in Baku every day at 03.00p.m.-06.00p.m. as part of the project implemented by IDEA, led by the Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva.

The leaders of the week were State Social Insurance Fund out of state agencies which submitted 27,000 kg of paper, Azerbaijani Lawyers Confederation among NGOs (173 kg) and "Embawood" LLC among private business companies (1,700 kg). Among citizens, Sevinj Isayeva ended up first with 56 kg of paper.

The campaign is still going on. Every 50 kg of recycled paper will equal to a tree.

In total, 51,159 tons of paper was recycled last week.
