The next training session within the framework of the “Ecological laboratory for children” Project, jointly implemented by IDEA and “Sevimli bala” will be held on 16 May 2015.

Being held monthly on wide-ranging topics, the May laboratory training will be devoted to the subject of energy.

Therefore, at the session the participating children will have the opportunity to know interesting facts and information about the electricity and how it is generated, alternative energy sources, energy efficiency and other related topics. They will also be introduced with energy safety measures as an important knowledge to acquire from early ages.       

Moreover, the young ecologists will seize the chance to take part at some experiments and observe the process of how energy is generated from some fruits and vegetables. In addition, the participants will create their own electric grids and will be provided an opportunity to play with robots powered by alternative energy sources.

Besides its role in spreading knowledge about an important element of the environment, namely electric energy, the session will also contribute to absorb understanding at early age about the importance of the efficient use of energy.
