As part of its education and training program, IDEA organized seminar on “Endengered and recently discovered fauna species of Azerbaijan” on May 6-7, 2015. The seminar consisted of two phases – theoretical and practical.

More than 40 young people studying or working in the fields of geography, biology, ecology and other similar spheres attended the session.

Theoretical part of the seminar feature a lecture by guest speaker Mr. Elshad Askerov, director of Azerbaijan branch of the World Wild Fund. Expert offered extensive presentation about the rich fauna of Azerbaijan, focusing on those facing the threat of extinction. Lecture followed by discussions and question and answer session.

The seminar enjoyed wide interest of the youth and contributed to the deepening of their knowledge.
