Opening ceremony of the improved park took place with participation of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva, who planted trees together with volunteers.

The project aims to upgrade residential parks that need restoration, increase areas of greeneries in the city, promote social fitness and create more comfortable living environments for residents.

7,000 acacia trees were planted in Gabala as part of the project that aims to boost the dwindling populations of bees and support beekeeping as a type of entrepreneurship in the country.

The established garden was divided between local families, who will be growing and harvesting the trees sustaining and improving their incomes.

During the tree-planting events,1,000 almond trees in Shabran and 1,248 hazelnut trees in Khachmaz were planted on 2-hectare area lands.

10 parrots were released into the Ataturk park of Baku under the project that aims to restore and preserve lost and vulnerable species in urban environments.
