Initiated by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva, "Bizim həyət" project successfully continues to improve old parks in Baku.
The next residential park was renovated for the 1500 residents living at Nizami district’s 78, 80, 86, 94, 94A, 94B Nakhchivanski street on December 14th.
"Bizim həyət" project aims to upgrade parks that need renovation, restoring and increasing areas of greeneries, promoting social fitness and creating more comfortable living environments for the residents of Baku.
Featuring various workout facilities, football and basketball field, outdoor chess board, bicycle lane and children's playground, the new park provides comfort to everyone, including people with disabilities, and enables all ages, especially young people, to engage in physical activity. Additionally, 7 gazebos, numerous benches, waste bins, bird and cat houses were also placed in the yard.
At the request of the residents, new outdoor lighting and security cameras were installed, and building façades, roofs and entrance areas were renovated as well. Along with the restoration of the existing greenery, 350 trees and bushes were planted following the COVID-19 safety guidelines, and 1500 square meter lawn was laid in the yard.
The project is planned to cover all districts of Baku. Suggestions and requests on the parks that need a renovation like this can be sent to IDEA.
