Sixth eco-scout camp, sixth location!
On 28-30 May, another Eco-scout camp was held in Samur-Yalama National Park with participation of 100 young nature-enthusiasts. Organized by IDEA, Scouts of Azerbaijan and the Youth Foundation, the Eco-scout camp travels each national park of the country, teaching young people about the natural world and the need to protect it, encouraging more outdoor time spending, while helping to build new friendships. During the 3-day camp, participants listened to lectures about the wilderness and species of the park, went on a 14 km hiking experience and engaged in first-aid, archery, zipline and various other sports adventures.
