Initiated by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva "Bizim həyət" (Our Yard) project successfully continues to improve and renovate old yards in Baku.

The twenty first yard improved within "Bizim həyət" project opened at 207 and 209 S.Mammadova street in Binagadi district on 18 March 2019.

The aim of the project is to upgrade yards that need restoration, increase areas of greeneries in the city and create more comfortable living environments for residents.

Surrounding multi-story buildings with 600 residents, the yard features a new landscape design, outdoor workout facilities, children's playground, 3 gazebos and benches providing and comfort to everyone, including people with disabilities. The sports equipment has been specifically placed to create social fitness experience for people of all ages enabling them to lead active lives.

At the request of residents, façades and entrance areas of the buildings have also been renovated. Along with the restoration of the existing greenery, 50 trees and shrubs have been planted in the new yard.

"Bizim həyət" project is planned to cover all districts of Baku. Suggestions and requests on the yards that need a renovation like this can be sent to IDEA Public Union.
