Ecological laboratory for children

Intro

Since January, 2014 “Ecological laboratory for children” project was jointly launched by IDEA and “Sevimli bala”, within the framework of newly established cooperation between two organizations. The project consists of series of enlightening events on environment for children aged 5-12.

Descrtiption & Concept

The purpose of the project is to facilitate deepening children’s perception of environmental protection.

The purpose of the project is to facilitate deepening children’s perception of environmental protection.


 
In order to increase interest of “little ecologists” to the environmental protection efforts and to make this process more entertaining, the laboratory features experiments, different quiz and exciting games. Kids also have a chance to create small artworks in the course of the workshop.


 
The first session of the “Ecological laboratory for children” was held for January 17, 2014 and was dedicated to melting of glaciers, rising of the sea level, migration of animals and the ways to prevent negative impact of global warming.


 
Trainings within the “Ecological laboratory for children” is organized at the Resource Center of IDEA Public Union at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.


 
Announcements on each session of the project is regularly published in media and IDEA online services (website, Facebook page and Instagram account).
