The Ecological Laboratory of IDEA and Sevimli Bala club continues to educate children about the natural world, with a view to nurture a sense of responsibility towards the environment in kids from the early ages. The February session was organized for the children with additional needs and disabilities in the care of the Public Association "Ümid işığında". The session consisted of theoretical and practical learning on the topic of environmental pollution and featured various lab experiments such as making a homemade water filter to teach about the process of infiltration and how due to pollution ground water can become contaminated and unsafe to drink.

The Ecological Laboratory is a monthly training session jointly launched by IDEA and Sevimli Bala kids club, providing opportunities and resources to extend the children’s knowledge and awareness of the environment.
