The Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP) has admitted IDEA as an observer member during its 26th session  taking place in Glasgow, UK on 1 - 12 November 2021. The admission allows our organization to participate in and contribute to the UNFCCC process that aims to prevent dangerous human interference with the climate system.

The annual biggest climate conference, COP26 will gather all countries to discuss the progress and challenges related to the Paris Climate Agreement, an international treaty that was adopted in 2015 and entered into force in 2016.
