On April 3, the presentation ceremony of the documentary film "Absheron National Park," part of IDEA Public Union's special project series "9 Wonders of Azerbaijan," was held at the Nizami Cinema Center.

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, attended the presentation.

Before the film's presentation, Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with an exhibition of photographs taken by the film's director, Igor Bishnyov, during the shooting of "Absheron National Park."

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Igor Bishnyov stated that "Absheron National Park" is the fourth film made within the "9 Wonders of Azerbaijan" project. At the same time, the director spoke about the creation of five successful films over the past five years reflecting Azerbaijan's unique nature, initiated by IDEA. He expressed his gratitude to Leyla Aliyeva, the project's initiator, provided guests with detailed information about the filming process, and shared his impressions.

The film's director, I. Bishnyov, emphasized that although Absheron National Park, established in 2005, is the smallest national park in Azerbaijan, it has a rich fauna and flora.

Within the framework of IDEA's "9 Wonders of Azerbaijan" project, it is planned to produce documentary films about nine national parks of the country. It should be noted that films dedicated to Shirvan, Aggol, and Goygol National Parks have already been presented to the public. The next films will cover Shahdagh, Hirkan, Altiagac, Zangezur, and Samur-Yalama National Parks.

The goal of IDEA's "9 Wonders of Azerbaijan" project is to promote Azerbaijan's enchanting natural beauty both domestically and internationally, as well as to highlight the importance of environmental protection.
