As part of the “Say No to Tree Cutting!” joint program, the “Emergency Help for Nature” hotline and mobile team have been established.

On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) Public Union, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Union jointly launched the “Say No to Tree Cutting!” program, under which the “Emergency Help for Nature” hotline and mobile team have been created.
Thus, when citizens encounter illegal tree cutting, they can submit complaints and suggestions to IDEA PU via the 1113 hotline from landline or mobile phones.
Citizens are also given the opportunity to submit their complaints regarding illegal tree cutting through the official website of IDEA Public Union. To highlight the issue more accurately, it is possible to upload photos of the area where trees have been cut to the website.
The mobile team established under the program will investigate incoming complaints on site and collect additional evidence, photos, and video materials related to the issue. After reviewing the complaints and suggestions, the collected evidence and materials will be submitted to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan for a decision regarding the incident. IDEA will monitor the resolution process of the problems reflected in the submitted applications.
