The presentation ceremony of the film “Ağgöl National Park” was held.

On April 24, 2015, at the “Nizami” Cinema Center, the presentation ceremony of the film “Ağgöl National Park,” part of IDEA Public Union’s special project series “9 Wonders of Azerbaijan,” took place.
Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, attended the presentation ceremony.
Before the film’s presentation, Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with an exhibition of photographs taken by the director of “Ağgöl National Park,” Igor Bışnyov, during the filming process.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Igor Bışnyov stated that “Ağgöl National Park” is the second film produced within the framework of the “9 Wonders of Azerbaijan” project. The director expressed his gratitude to the project initiator Leyla Aliyeva, provided guests with detailed information about the filming process, and shared his impressions.
It should be noted that IDEA’s “9 Wonders of Azerbaijan” project involves the production of extensive documentary films in nine of the country’s national parks. Within this framework, last year, the first documentary film titled “Shirvan National Park” was presented to the public and received great interest. In the coming years, films about Göygöl, Shahdag, Hirkan, Altyagach, Zangazur, Absheron, and Samur-Yalama National Parks are also planned.
IDEA Public Union intends to screen the film “Ağgöl National Park” at higher education institutions and IDEA’s Resource Centers.
The aim of the project is to promote Azerbaijan’s enchanting natural beauty and highlight the importance of its protection.
