For the first time in Azerbaijan, "green buses" will be sent to the regions.

The IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) campaign, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, is launching its next nationwide ecological awareness project.
On September 24, at 12:00, participants of the “For a Green Azerbaijan” project, implemented by the IDEA international campaign, will gather near the Maiden Tower for the symbolic departure ceremony of specially designed “green buses” to the regions and cities of Azerbaijan. During the project, “green trainers,” who will work in educational seminars for secondary school students from various regions and cities of Azerbaijan, will be transported to the regions via the “green buses.” They will voluntarily work as trainers with secondary school students.
The main goal of the project is to educate students about environmental issues, strengthen their theoretical knowledge in this field, ensure their environmentally friendly approach in future activities, and also to develop the IDEA campaign’s “green volunteer” team in the regions.
It should be noted that the ecological seminars will be held consecutively in 20 cities during September–October.
