On March 2, a presentation dedicated to the activities of the IDEA Public Union was held at IDEA’s Resource Center, located at the State Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for students of Baku State University’s Faculty of Soil Science and Ecology.

The presentation was organized within the framework of the internship program for 4th-year students of the Faculty of Soil Science and Ecology and involved 30 students.

During the event, the projects implemented by IDEA both domestically and abroad, its experience in international cooperation, and the achievements attained during its five years of activity were discussed. It was noted that young people are generally the main driving force of IDEA’s projects and the guarantors of their success. In this regard, information was provided to students on ways to participate in the activities of the Public Union.

At the end of the presentation, interactive discussions were held with the participants, and their questions were answered.

It should be noted that as part of IDEA Public Union’s ecological education program, such meetings, scientific seminars on environmental topics, trainings, competitions, presentations, and lectures are regularly organized with young people who are studying or working in the fields of environment and sustainable development.

IDEA considers these meetings with students effective in terms of engaging all young people studying in environmental fields in ecological problems and especially in finding solutions to them, increasing their interest in their fields, and demonstrating their indispensable role in environmental protection.

Similar presentations are also planned to be held in 2016 for students studying at other higher education institutions in our country. Detailed information about this will be regularly published in the media.
