The international “Green Graffiti” festival, organized by the IDEA campaign with the aim of preserving harmony between the environment and art, took place on May 12, 2013. Young people from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, England, and Azerbaijan participated in the festival.

Festival participants conveyed their messages related to environmental issues by creating various artworks on specially installed stands in one of the central areas of Baku.

The main objective of organizing the festival by the IDEA campaign was to place special emphasis on the importance of environmental protection through the art of graffiti and to bring this issue to public attention. The festival also opened up great opportunities for creating a new direction in the activities of young artists.

It should be noted that more than 80 young people applied to participate in the “Green Graffiti” festival, and the selection of participants began in April.

It is also worth noting that since its establishment, the IDEA campaign has been striving to inform people about environmental issues and to encourage their active participation in this field. For this purpose, the campaign has been implementing various projects.
