In Bilgah, a beach cleanup campaign was held with the participation of IDEA founder Leyla Aliyeva and volunteers.

An action held under the slogan “Keep the Beaches Clean” was organized in the Bilgəh beach area of Baku. During the cleanup, participants equipped with necessary sanitary supplies cleared the area of large amounts of waste, especially plastic waste that causes lasting harm.

The main goal of the event is to promote cleanliness on seashores, prevent coastal areas from being littered with household waste, and engage people in efforts to protect the marine environment.

It should be noted that, in order to preserve the unique biodiversity of the Caspian Sea and other water basins in the Caucasus region, IDEA organizes regular activities aimed at cleaning and restoring polluted coastal areas.
