“Opening of the next courtyard within the framework of the “Bizim Həyət” project”

Updated yard covers five-storey buildings located at Bakı şəhəri, Nərimanov rayonu, Azadlıq prospekti 146 a, 148 a, 150 a və Nəcəf Nərimanov 3, where more than 750 residents live.

The main purpose of the “Bizim həyət” project is to ensure that yards across the country are environmentally clean and well-maintained, to restore greenery that forms the backbone of urban ecology, to promote a healthy lifestyle, and to create a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

In the next renovated yard, the movement needs of people with disabilities and limited health capabilities have been considered; equipment supporting the development of children of various age groups has been installed, and playgrounds have been created. Additionally, to help young people spend their leisure time efficiently and develop a habit of engaging in sports, the area has been equipped with various sports facilities. At the same time, 6 seating pavilions, numerous benches, birdhouses, and cat shelters have been installed in the yard area.

In the residential zone, new lighting poles and surveillance cameras have been installed, the façades and entrances of the buildings have been fully renovated, asphalt and roof coverings have been renewed, old windows in the entrances have been replaced with new plastic ones, the electrical system has been rebuilt, and a parking lot for cars has been created.

Alongside the restoration of existing greenery in the yard, 388 trees of various species have been planted, and a green belt has been established on an area of 2540 square meters. Additionally, “green barriers” have been created by planting common ivy and other climbing plants around the yard to reduce air pollution.

During the opening of the new yard, various types of trees were planted in the area with the participation of volunteers to draw public attention to the protection of greenery, preserve the environment, and enrich the atmosphere with oxygen.

The implementation of this project is planned in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations regarding the yards of our capital that require improvement are kindly requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
