Within the framework of the "Bizim Həyət" project, the next yard opening

On November 23, another yard renovated within the framework of the “Our Yard” project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, was opened for residents’ use.
According to Trend, the renovated yard covers multi-story buildings at Bəhruz Nuriyev Street 120/116 and Qara Qarayev Avenue 118 and 120 in the Nizami district of Baku, home to 650 residents.
The main goal of the “Our Yard” project is to make yards across the country ecologically clean and well-maintained, restore greenery that forms the backbone of urban ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
In the next renovated yard, the movement of people with disabilities and limited health capabilities has been taken into account. Facilities have been created for children of all age groups to support their development, for young people to spend their leisure time effectively, and to instill a habit of systematic sports. The area now includes an artificial turf mini football stadium, a chess area, various sports facilities, and children’s playgrounds. Additionally, seven conversation areas, numerous benches, trash bins, birdhouses, and cat houses have been installed.
Considering the wishes and interests of residents, new lighting poles and surveillance cameras have been installed, building facades and blocks have been fully renovated, asphalt and roof coverings renewed, and the electrical system rebuilt.
Along with the restoration of existing greenery in the yard, 260 trees of various species and up to 15,000 bushes have been planted, and a 2,400-square-meter green belt has been established. In addition, common climbing plants and other vines that grow densely around the yard and effectively reduce air pollution have been planted to create “green barriers.”
Within the framework of the “Our Yard” project, information and recommendations regarding the improvement of residential yard areas are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
