The "Our Yard" project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, aimed at the improvement of unrenovated yards, continues successfully.

On December 28, the next yard renovated within the framework of the "Our Yard" project was opened for residents' use. The renewed yard covers buildings at 37, 37A, and 39 Ataturk Avenue in the Narimanov district, housing nearly 1,500 residents.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to model ecologically clean and well-maintained yards, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

In the yard renovated within the "Our Yard" project, covering an area of 1.3 hectares, accessibility for disabled and mobility-impaired people has been ensured, and for the development of children of all age groups, playground elements, mini football and chess fields, as well as a 500 m² bicycle path have been created. The main purpose of establishing such spaces is to encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, strengthen their health, spend their leisure time efficiently, and develop a habit of regular physical activity.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, the facades and entrances of the buildings have also been completely renovated and made available for use. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 100 trees and shrubs have been planted, and a 3,500 m² green strip has been laid. Surveillance cameras have also been installed to ensure residents' safety.

The yard in the Narimanov district made available to residents is the twelfth yard renovated under the project.

It is planned to implement this project in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations regarding yards in the capital that require improvement are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
