“Our Yard” - Nasimi (Ali Mustafayev 11)

The "Our Yard" project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, aimed at the improvement of unrepaired yards, continues successfully.
On December 26, the next yard renovated within the framework of the "Our Yard" project was handed over for use by residents. The renewed yard is located at 11 Ali Mustafayev Street in the Nasimi district, covering buildings where nearly 860 residents live.
The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to model environmentally clean and improved yards, restore greenery, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
In the renovated yard of 1,000 m² within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, the movement of disabled and people with limited health abilities has been taken into account, and favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups have been created with 100 m² allocated for children's play elements, 200 m² for mini football and basketball, 100 m² for sports and fitness, and 20 m² for chess grounds. The main purpose of creating such areas is to encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, strengthen their health, spend their free time productively, and develop a reflex for systematic sports activities.
Taking into account the wishes and interests of residents, the facades and entrances of the buildings have also been fully renovated and handed over for use. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 100 trees and shrubs were planted, and lawns were laid over 400 m². Furthermore, surveillance cameras were installed to ensure the safety of residents.
This yard in the Nasimi district is the tenth yard renovated and handed over to residents within the project framework.
The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations about the yards in our capital that require improvement are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
