“Our yard” - Nasimi district, Huseyn Seyidzade street 1-2a

Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice-President, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva has initiated the “Bizim həyət” project, within which another renovated courtyard has been opened for residents’ use.
The renewed courtyard covers the buildings located at 1 and 2a Huseyn Seyidzade Street, Nasimi District, Baku, where approximately 1,600 residents live.
The main goal of the “Bizim həyət” project is to make Baku’s courtyards environmentally clean and well-maintained, restore greenery that forms the backbone of the city’s ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
In the newly renovated courtyard, the movement needs of people with disabilities and limited mobility have been taken into account; various sports facilities, a football and basketball field, and a children’s playground have been built to create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, ensure efficient leisure time for young people, and foster a habit of regular physical activity. Five gazebos have been constructed in the area of the new courtyard, and numerous benches and waste bins have been installed.
Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, new elevators, lighting poles, as well as renovated building facades, roofs, and entrance areas have been provided. In addition to the existing greenery, 80 trees and shrubs have been planted, along with a 1000-square-meter green strip.
The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, citizens are requested to submit information and suggestions about courtyards in need of improvement to the IDEA Public Union.
