"Our life" - Nasimi district, 14, 20 Seyid Jafar Pishavari Street

On October 27, within the framework of the “Our Yard” project initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, the next renovated yard was handed over for residents’ use.
The renovated yard covers buildings housing nearly 800 residents at 14 and 20 Seyid Cəfər Pişəvəri Street in the Nasimi district of Baku.
The main goal of the “Our Yard” project is to make Baku’s yards ecologically clean and well-maintained, restore greenery that forms the backbone of the city’s ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
In the newly renovated yard, accessibility for people with disabilities and limited mobility has been taken into account. Various sports equipment, football and chess courts, and a playground for children have been installed to create favorable conditions for children’s development across all age groups, ensure that young people spend their leisure time effectively, and foster a habit of systematic sports activity. Two gazebos have been built in the yard, along with benches, waste bins, birdhouses, and dog shelters.
Taking into account the requests and interests of the residents, new lighting poles have been installed, and the facades, roofs, and entrance areas of the buildings have been fully renovated. In addition to restoring existing greenery in the yard, 50 trees have been planted while observing special quarantine rules, and a 1,600-square-meter green area has been established, with a water line laid for irrigation.
The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations regarding yards in need of renovation in the capital are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
