Within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, the next renovated yard has been made available for residents' use.

The renewed yard covers the buildings located at 58 and 58A Shirin Mirzayev Street and 33 and 37 Gara Garayev Street in the Nizami district, where 2,200 residents live.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is to ensure the ecological cleanliness and improvement of Baku yards, restore greenery that forms the backbone of the city’s ecology, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the newly renovated yard, the ease of movement for people with disabilities and limited health abilities has been considered. Facilities have been created for the development of children of all age groups, as well as various sports equipment, a football field, a chess field, and a playground for children to allow young people to spend their leisure time effectively and develop a habit of systematic physical activity.

At the same time, five gazebos have been constructed, benches and trash bins have been installed.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of residents, new lighting poles and security cameras have been installed in the yard, and the facades, roofs, and entrances of the buildings have been completely renovated. In addition to restoring the existing greenery in the yard, 30 trees have been planted and a green zone of 2,225 square meters has been created, observing special quarantine rules.

Medical and preventive measures have been implemented in the renewed yard in accordance with quarantine requirements; disinfectant dispensers have been installed, and informative boards have been set up to remind residents to follow quarantine regulations.

The project is planned to be implemented in all districts of Baku. In this regard, information and recommendations regarding yards in the capital that need improvement are requested to be submitted to the IDEA Public Union.
