Today marks the second anniversary of the IDEA campaign’s activities. Over the past two years, the IDEA campaign, which has established a regional and international cooperation network for the protection of the ecological environment, has achieved numerous successes.
It should be noted that during the period of its activities to date, the campaign has implemented nearly 10 international and more than 50 local projects. Examples of these include the “International Camp of Young Ecologists,” “Green Week,” “The Earth Through the Eyes of Children,” “Shelter for Birds,” “Green Azerbaijan,” “Green Graffiti,” “Eco-cinema,” “Green Conversation Club,” “An Idea for IDEA,” and others.
We would like to inform you that the IDEA international campaign currently cooperates with up to 20 international organizations, including WWF, UNEP, Webistan, and others, as well as up to 30 local organizations.
For your information, the main area of activity of the campaign is to create a real and virtual network of young people in order to achieve solutions to environmental problems at the local and international levels, to inform them about the ecological challenges facing the Earth, and to implement local and international projects in this field.
It should be noted that the IDEA campaign was established on July 12, 2011, by Leyla Khan Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
