The IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) campaign, which identifies raising awareness among youth in the ecological field as one of its main goals, held an interactive seminar on the topic "The Decrease of Freshwater Resources in the Context of Pollution of the World's Water Basins" in connection with "World Maritime Day," celebrated globally every year on September 25.

The seminar took place at the IDEA Resource Center, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. More than 20 young people participated in the seminar, exchanging views on freshwater problems and possible solutions to these issues.

Aflatun Hasanov, Deputy Head of the Ecology Department of SOCAR, attended the seminar as an expert. The specialist provided the participants with detailed information about the significance and scale of this problem and called on the youth to be attentive in this area.

In addition, the expert informed the youth about the measures taken in recent years both in Azerbaijan and globally to address this problem and answered various questions from the seminar participants related to the topic.

It should be noted that the IDEA campaign regularly implements such educational projects.
