A scientific seminar on the topic of “Environmental Management” was organized.

As part of IDEA’s environmental education program, on November 6, a scientific seminar on “Environmental Management” was held at the IDEA Public Union Resource Center for cadets of the Academy of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the Ministry of National Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the special military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Higher Military School, the Higher Military Naval and Aviation Schools, as well as the Police Academy and the Higher Military School of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the seminar, Elman Yusifov, a renowned expert on biodiversity conservation, shared interesting information with participants about various areas of the environment.

Within the framework of the seminar, a presentation of the two-volume textbook “Environmental Management,” co-authored by Elman Yusifov, was also held. It should be noted that this book was published under the chief editorship of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.

The book contains scientific research on all areas of the environment, including ecosystems, biodiversity, legal regulation, global environmental problems observed in the modern world and ways to solve them, international practices, and more. This book serves as a useful textbook for students studying in the fields of environment, ecology, and sustainable development, and also holds special importance as a reference book for professionals working in these areas.

During the seminar, conducted in an interactive format, young participants had the opportunity to directly discuss with the expert topics of interest related to environmental protection.

At the end of the event, the IDEA Public Union presented participants with the two-volume “Environmental Management” books as gifts.

The IDEA Public Union will also organize similar seminars for students of other higher education institutions in our country.
