A scientific seminar on “Ecological Management” was organized

As part of IDEA’s ecological education program, on October 23, a scientific seminar on “Ecological Management” was held at the IDEA Public Union Resource Center for students of Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan Cooperative University, Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. During the seminar, renowned biodiversity conservation expert Elman Yusifov shared interesting information with the participants about various fields of the environment.

Within the framework of the seminar, a presentation of the two-volume teaching material titled “Ecological Management,” co-authored by Elman Yusifov, was also held. It should be noted that the mentioned book was published under the chief editorship of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.

The book contains scientific research on all areas of the environment, including ecosystems, biodiversity, legal regulation, global environmental issues observed in the modern world and their solutions, international experience, and more. This book serves as a useful textbook for students studying in the fields of environment, ecology, and sustainable development, and also holds special importance as a reference book for professionals working in these fields.

During the interactive seminar, young participants had the opportunity to directly discuss topics of interest related to environmental protection with a professional.

At the end of the event, the IDEA Public Union gifted the participants the two-volume “Ecological Management” books.

The IDEA Public Union will organize similar seminars for students of other higher education institutions in our country.
