The next meeting was held within the framework of the “Green Conversation Club” project.

The IDEA Public Union, which implements large-scale projects to engage youth in environmental issues and enable them to contribute to environmental protection and join the fight against ecological problems, held the next meeting within the framework of the “Green Conversation Club” project.
The meeting took place on February 24 at the Resource Center of the IDEA Public Union, located at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the participation of about 30 young people.
This time, the club’s topic was dedicated to the reuse and recycling of construction waste. The youth engaged in extensive discussions on the efficient use of natural resources and waste management for the sake of environmental protection and exchanged ideas on ways to reduce waste.
A representative of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, as a special guest of the club, delivered a presentation on the topic and shared their thoughts and experiences with the youth.
The meeting was remarkable in terms of encouraging young people to participate in processes such as waste reduction, sorting, and recycling.
The IDEA Public Union launched the “Green Conversation Club” project in June 2012 with the aim of improving young ecologists’ knowledge about the environment and their foreign language (English) skills. From the very first day, the “Green Conversation Club” has served as a comfortable educational space where students and young professionals studying in the fields of environment and sustainable development can converse in English.
