The joint project “Let’s Turn Every Paper into a Leaf” is launching.

Within the framework of the project, state institutions, private organizations, or ordinary citizens will deliver used paper to points set up in front of ASAN service centers in Baku. Here, the delivered paper will be collected in special containers and recorded.

For every 50 kg of paper delivered, one tree will be received. The trees will be planted in Baku with the participation of the institutions that delivered the paper.

The main goal of the project is to ensure the participation of all segments of society in combating environmental problems and to involve them in this work, to effectively increase awareness among people through real environmental projects, and to organize the proper use of waste in order to minimize the damage to the ecological environment.

The acceptance of used paper will begin on February 3, 2014.
