On April 26, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, and Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), met with Mario Lubetkin, Acting Director-General of FAO participating in the VII Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, and Melek Çakmak, Head of the Organization’s Partnership and Coordination Office.

During the meeting, it was noted that the ideas and goals of the Forum held in our capital are of great importance in the modern era, and the significance of the issues raised and opinions expressed at the Youth Forum held on April 25 within the framework of the event was emphasized. Leyla Aliyeva shared her views on environmental protection.

The discussion also included an exchange of views on global hunger, the cultivation of sturgeon in the Caspian Sea, and proper nutrition in schools.
