The "Eco-Scout" project, launched on the initiative of the IDEA Public Union and attracting great interest from young people, continues successfully. A meeting with the new members of the IDEA eco-scouts, whose number has reached 150 in a short period, was held on July 26 at the IDEA Resource Center.

It should be noted that the project was launched on March 27. The purpose of the project is to engage young people in the protection of nature, to encourage them to use the resources provided by nature sparingly and correctly, to study and protect the living world in depth, and to motivate them to engage in beneficial environmental activities in society.

The IDEA Eco-Scout project gives young people the opportunity to understand the environmental problems threatening our planet, to involve others in solving these problems, to participate in this public movement, and to become its leaders.

During the meeting, young people wishing to become IDEA Eco-Scouts were provided with detailed information about the essence of the project, the responsibilities of eco-scouts, their principles of activity, daily eco-scout rules, ways to join the eco-scout club, obtaining membership cards and high-status cards, and the points accumulation mechanism.

It should be noted that young people applying to join the club were given a membership card and a specially prepared cap, waist bag, and badge by IDEA. Newly joined members will have the opportunity to accumulate points and increase their status by engaging in environmentally beneficial activities under the status of "Young Ecologist." Eco-scouts who collect sufficient points will be considered to have reached the highest level, and valuable gifts will be presented to them by IDEA.

At the end of the meeting, the new members who voluntarily applied to join the IDEA eco-scout project took the joint "eco-scout oath."
