The "Eco-Scout" project, initiated by the IDEA Public Union and attracting great interest among young people, continues successfully. On May 16, a meeting with the new members of IDEA Eco-Scouts, whose number has reached 70 in a short period, was held at the IDEA Resource Center.

It should be noted that the project was launched on March 27. The aim of the project is to involve young people in nature conservation, encourage them to use the resources provided by nature efficiently and correctly, to study and protect the living world in depth, as well as to engage in useful ecological activities within society.

The IDEA Eco-Scout project provides young people with the opportunity to understand the ecological problems threatening our planet, involve others in solving these problems, participate in this social movement, and become its leaders.

During the meeting, young people wishing to become IDEA Eco-Scouts were given detailed information about the essence of the project, the responsibilities of Eco-Scouts, their principles of activity, daily Eco-Scout rules, ways to join the Eco-Scout club, membership cards and high-status cards, and the mechanism for collecting points.

It should be noted that young people applying to join the club were provided with a membership card, as well as a cap, waist bag, and badge specially prepared by IDEA. New members will have the opportunity to engage in environmentally beneficial activities under the status of "Young Ecologist," earn points, and increase their status. Eco-Scouts who collect sufficient points will be considered to have reached the highest level and will receive valuable gifts from IDEA.

At the end of the meeting, the new members who voluntarily applied to join the IDEA Eco-Scout project jointly took the “Eco-Scout Oath.”
