The number of IDEA "Eco-Scouts" is increasing day by day.

The “Eco-Scout” project, launched on the initiative of the IDEA Public Union and attracting great interest from young people, continues successfully. A meeting was held on March 15 at the IDEA Resource Center with new members who registered to join IDEA Eco-Scouts.
It should be noted that the project was launched in March of last year. The aim of the project is to engage young people in the protection of nature, encourage them to use the resources provided by nature economically and correctly, to study and protect the living world in depth, as well as to motivate them to participate in useful environmental activities in society.
The IDEA Eco-Scout project gives young people the opportunity to understand the environmental problems that pose a threat to our planet, involve others in solving these problems, participate in this public movement, and become its leader.
During the meeting, young people wishing to become IDEA Eco-Scouts were given detailed information about the essence of the project, the responsibilities of eco-scouts, their principles of activity, daily eco-scout rules, ways to join the eco-scout club, how to obtain a membership card and high-status cards, and the mechanism for collecting points.
About 30 young people who applied to join the project received a membership card and items specially prepared by IDEA, including a cap, a waist bag, and a badge. Newly joined members will have the opportunity to accumulate points and increase their status by engaging in environmentally beneficial activities under the “Young Ecologist” status. Eco-Scouts who collect enough points will be considered to have reached the highest level, and IDEA will present them with a certificate and valuable gifts.
At the end of the meeting, the new members who voluntarily applied to join the IDEA Eco-Scout project jointly took the “eco-scout oath.”
