IDEA announces the “Eco House” competition that will award 3,000 AZN to young people.

The IDEA Public Union (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection), with the support of the “Day.az” news portal, is launching the project called “Eco House.”

Within the framework of the project, sketches of environmentally friendly houses will be prepared, taking into account ecological factors such as reduced energy consumption, waste utilization, and more.

The competition is open to individuals aged 18-30. To participate, it is necessary to register on the website idea.day.az from February 1 to March 10, 2014, and upload a sketch prepared on the topic of “eco house” (in “jpg” format) along with a brief description. From March 10 to April 10, the top 10 sketches will be selected through voting on the Facebook social network. The 10 sketches with the highest number of votes will then be evaluated by the competition jury.

The authors of the top three selected sketches will be awarded cash prizes of 3,000, 2,000, and 1,000 AZN, respectively. In addition, the first-place winner will have the opportunity to gain experience at a large construction company abroad, while the second-place winner will have the opportunity to do so at a major construction company operating in Azerbaijan.
