IDEA Public Association Has Become a Member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

IDEA Public Association, founded and led by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, has been accepted as a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

By becoming a member of IUCN, IDEA Public Association will have the opportunity to expand cooperation prospects with leading international organizations active in the environmental field, participate more closely in global projects, and influence the process of making international decisions related to the environment.

IDEA Public Association and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) have been cooperating since early 2014 and have implemented a number of successful projects.

Founded in 1948, IUCN is recognized today as the largest and oldest organization in the world operating in the field of environmental conservation.

Currently, the organization has a total of 1,200 members, including more than 200 government and over 900 non-governmental organizations. The Union brings together nearly 11,000 scientists and experts operating in 160 countries.
