Under the initiative of the IDEA Public Union, another cleaning campaign was held in the city of Ganja.

On June 16, on the initiative of the Ganja Resource Center of the IDEA Public Union and with the support of the Ganja City Executive Power, a cleaning campaign was organized around the lake located in the Heydar Aliyev Park Complex.

During the campaign, more than 100 volunteers of the IDEA Public Union were provided with equipment meeting all sanitary standards, collected waste, sorted it, and handed it over to the relevant recycling enterprises.

The purpose of the event was to collect waste in the areas around the lake, engage young people in keeping nature clean, and also to make calls to the public to avoid littering.

The campaign was highly appreciated by the city’s community.

It should be noted that the IDEA Public Union regularly organizes cleaning campaigns in various areas to prevent environmental pollution. Within the framework of these activities, a cleaning campaign of the Ganja River was held in March of this year on the occasion of International Rivers Day. In addition, the IDEA Public Union carries out similar activities on Baku beaches every year before and after the bathing season.
